WWE Raw Start Time Changed For Raleigh Show Next Month

The start time for the Monday Night Raw event scheduled for September 29, 2025, in Raleigh, North Carolina, has been officially changed to 6:30 PM local time. This earlier start has led to speculation that the main Raw broadcast on Netflix may also begin an hour earlier that night, and that WWE could be planning a double television taping to get ahead of their demanding international tour in October.

An Earlier Start Time

Typically, the doors for a WWE television event open 30 minutes to an hour before the live broadcast to accommodate dark matches and content for other shows like WWE Main Event. The newly advertised 6:30 PM start time in Raleigh suggests that the main Raw broadcast could begin at 7:00 PM local time, an hour earlier than its standard time slot.

The extra time created by the earlier start could be intended to make room for WWE to hold a double TV taping in Raleigh. While WWE has not announced this, the company could potentially tape a second show’s worth of content, such as the following week’s Raw, in advance. This would ease the production and travel load on talent and crew as they prepare for a demanding international trip in early October.

As of now, the company is scheduled for SmackDown on October 3 and Raw in Dallas, Texas, on October 6. Immediately after the Dallas show, the roster is set to fly to Perth, Australia, for three major events: Friday Night SmackDown on October 10, the Crown Jewel premium live event on Saturday, October 11, and the following Monday Night Raw on October 13.

Aside from the change made on Ticketmaster, WWE has not made any official announcements about the start time for the 9/29 Raw.
