One WWE Raw superstar had an injury scare at a recent live event and that’s former Raw Tag Team Champion Drew McIntyre.
WWE held a live event on Saturday night in Tupelo, MS at the BancorpSouth Arena. At this show, McIntyre worked a singles match against Dean Ambrose. During the match, it appeared that McIntyre had suffered a knee injury once he connected with the Claymore kick.
This led to the referee to put up the “X” signal, indicating that McIntyre was injured. As a result, McIntyre was limping and was helped to the back.
The good news is that McIntyre is fine as he worked Sunday’s show in Montgomery, Alabama where he beat Ambrose. You can read the results from the event in Montgomery here:
