WWE Raw Viewership, Demo Drops For 12/23 Episode

As expected with the holiday season in full swing, Monday Night Raw experienced a dip in viewership for its December 23rd edition. ProgrammingInsider.com reports that the show drew 1,453,000 overnight viewers, down from the previous week’s 1,554,000.

The key demographic of viewers aged 18-49 also saw a decline, with a 0.42 rating compared to last week’s 0.47.

This drop is not unexpected for this time of year. With holiday festivities, travel, and family gatherings taking precedence, television viewership tends to decline across the board. Many potential viewers are likely busy with Christmas preparations and spending time with loved ones, resulting in fewer people tuning in to Raw.

WWE is expecting huge numbers for the first Raw on Netflix on 1/6.
