WWE recorded tributes in honor of Brodie Lee before Monday’s Raw
Although WWE did honor Jon Huber, better known as Brodie Lee in AEW and Luke Harper from his time with the company, many fans and wrestlers weren’t happy with how the promotion did it.
WWE opened the show with a graphic to remember Huber. Throughout the show, there were various wrestlers who paid homage in their own way such as Xavier Woods and T-Bar of Retribution.
During Raw Talk, Woods and Kofi Kingston spoke on Huber’s passing. WWE also shared the footage on social media after the broadcast.
Pwinsider.com reported this morning that WWE did record footage in honor of Huber before Raw went live on the USA Network. However, the footage wasn’t used during the broadcast.
As of this writing, there’s no word yet on when WWE plans to air the footage, but there is something planned. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful also heard the same thing, as seen below:
WWE was at least filming content for a Brodie Lee tribute. I don't know what platform or method it will run, but they've been working on it.
