WWE Referee Daphanie LaShaunn Harassed And Threatened By Fans

WWE referee Daphanie LaShaunn has revealed that she was the target of harassment from fans who misinterpreted a social media post about the death of her grandmother.

The unfortunate situation began when LaShaunn posted a heartfelt but vague message, which some fans immediately assumed was a confirmation that she had been released from her WWE contract. She wrote, “It’s not goodbye. It’s see ya later.💔” Some fans took this as a farewell message to the company, but she quickly followed up to correct the misunderstanding, expressing her frustration by writing, “Bro I lost my grandma not everything is about wrestling good God!”

Unfortunately, the clarification did not stop the negative comments. In a later post, LaShaunn detailed the horrific harassment she received from some individuals online, which included threats against her and her late grandmother.

“Never in my life did I think I would ever be harassed, threatened, and even be told they would spit on my grandmothers grave….All bc of a misinterpreted tweet and I said not everything is about wrestling… Yall got it.💔 I’ll see y’all when I see yall.✌🏾”
