There has been grumbling in WWE from the referees about pay. It’s been said that the referees are having troubles making it due to road expenses. The referees are paid less than the talent but paid in the same way (paid depending on how good business is) so they are hurt the worst when house show business is down and they have the same road expenses that the talent have and in some cases they have increasing road expenses.
