WWE broadcast personality Ryan Pappolla was reportedly part of the WWE staff cuts that occurred on Thursday, May 1st.
Pappolla’s departure concludes a long tenure with the company, lasting approximately a decade. PWInsider.com confirmed the news today. The report added that Pappolla “had been very much liked within the company walls,” indicating he was well-regarded internally.
He began his WWE journey as an intern and initially worked on the editorial side of the business. Pappolla eventually transitioned into on-air broadcasting roles, becoming a familiar face to fans as a host for digital programming, including “WWE Now” and later as a prominent co-host on the popular panel show “WWE’s The Bump.”
More recently, Pappolla had been actively involved with content on WWE’s Twitch channel, hosting shows such as the “WWE Vault Watchalong” broadcasts and “Raw Sidecasts.”
Despite his positive standing and long service across various WWE platforms, Pappolla was included in the staff reductions implemented this week under the TKO Group Holdings structure.
