WWE seems to want to erase Sasha Banks and pretend like she doesn’t exist.
Last night on Friday Night SmackDown, a “Sasha Krew 4 Life” sign could be seen as Raquel Rodriguez was celebrating her win over Shayna Baszler. As seen in the clip below, WWE’s production team quickly cut away once the sign was shown.
WWE posted photos from last night’s show on their website and as you can see below, they have photoshopped out the “Sasha Krew 4 Life” and instead you just see a blank sign behind Rodriguez.
This isn’t new. WWE has done this countless times for wrestlers who they are not on good terms with and who are no longer with the company. WrestleVotes confirmed Raj Giri’s report that Banks has been given her release. The company has not commented on Banks since she walked out several weeks ago but it looks like she will be free to sign with another company whenever her non-compete (if she has one) ends.
