Chad Gable is no longer slated to work this Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, where he was set to wrestle in a Money in the Bank qualifying match.
This past week on Raw, he was one of the many victims of the Wyatt Sicks, which is made up of Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, Nikki Cross, Dexter Lumis, and Joe Gacy. This faction is a tribute to Bo Dallas’ late brother, Bray Wyatt.
Before the attack, Gable lost to Strowman in a singles match, and days after, he lost to Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn at Clash at the Castle last weekend, and he signed a new contract with WWE. Gable was seen with blood coming from his temple, implying a potential gunshot wound.
A triple threat match between Gable, Braun Strowman, and Bronson Reed had been announced for next week’s Raw, but that was changed as on today’s Main Event episode, WWE shared a graphic with Gable no longer being in the bout. Instead, Ilja Dragunov is taking Gable’s place.
Lyra Valkyria vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Kairi Sane in a Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match is the only thing else confirmed for the show.
