WWE reportedly confiscated Bray Wyatt signs at SummerSlam

A fan who sat near ringside for Saturday’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event brought a big Bray Wyatt sign that was actually shown during the pre-show of the event while Big E wrestled Baron Corbin in a singles match.

Dave Meltzer noted on today’s episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE confiscated signs that were related to the former WWE Champion.

“Did you hear they were confiscating Wyatt stuff? There was a big Wyatt sign that I saw in the Big E and Baron Corbin match and they panned away really quick. I was told they took it from the guy, which actually, I was told, got heated, but the guy did give it up.”

It was reported on Saturday that Wyatt is headed to AEW once his 90-day non-compete clause expires. Wyatt was released by WWE on July 31st due to budget cuts despite WWE planning for him to make his return this month.

Wyatt last worked a match at WrestleMania 37 where he lost to Randy Orton thanks to outside interference by Alexa Bliss.
