WWE roster stuck in Saudi Arabia, most are unable to make it to tonight’s SmackDown

There’s an issue preventing most of the WWE roster from leaving Riyadh, Saudi Arabia so they will not be able to make it to Buffalo, NY in time for tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown.

A small group of Superstars have left and will be able to make it on the show and Vince McMahon left before the issues came up so he should be landing in the United States soon.

One source heard that the issues were related to the plane but I heard that there may be other issues at play.

One thing for sure is that there are a lot of unhappy people right now, especially having to sit on the plane for several hours after being cleared by customs agents.

Brock Lesnar is among those who was able to leave on a private plane so he, in theory, would be available to appear on SmackDown. Others like Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens, The Miz, Sami Zayn and most of the female roster did not travel to Saudi Arabia so they would be available for SmackDown along with the small group of wrestlers that were able to fly out of the country.

Tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown is scheduled to have Bray Wyatt as a guest on Miz TV, Roman Reigns vs. Baron Corbin, The Revival defending the SmackDown Tag Team Championship against The New Day, and Bayley & Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville vs. Nikki Cross, Carmella & Dana Brooke.

Aside from the female talent that did not fly out to Saudi Arabia, it is unclear if the names mentioned above were part of the charter flight that has left Saudi Arabia. As of this writing, most of the roster has yet to leave the country and will be unable to make it to tonight’s show in time.
