WWE Royal Rumble 2026 Will Take Place In Saudi Arabia

WWE is set take one of their biggest events, the Royal Rumble, to Saudi Arabia in 2026, marking the first time the event will be held outside the United States since its inception in 1988.

PWInsider has confirmed the agreement with multiple sources within WWE. An official announcement is anticipated as early as Monday’s Raw premiere on Netflix.

This move represents a significant escalation in WWE’s partnership with Saudi Arabia, which began in 2018 and currently extends through 2028. Previous collaborations have included 12 pay-per-view events and two television tapings.

The decision to hold the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia is likely to generate debate, given past criticism surrounding the partnership. However, it also signals the potential for other major WWE events, including WrestleMania, to be held in the Middle East in the future.

The 2025 Royal Rumble is scheduled for February 1st in Indianapolis.
