Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens in a Ladder Match took place at the WWE Royal Rumble Premium Live Event on Saturday night from Indianapolis, IN at Lucas Oil Stadium.
They started brawling before Owens powerslammed him onto a ladder in the entrance way. They brawled into the crowd. Owens used the camera as a weapon. Back at ringside, Owens tossed him onto a ladder. Owens used a step ladder as a weapon only for Rhodes to also use it. Rhodes tried to climb the ladder, but Owens stopped him with a ladder and then powerslammed him onto one. Rhodes busted off a piece of the ladder and used it as a weapon. Rhodes back dropped him onto a corner of a ladder that was put down. Owens powerbombed him into a ladder in the corner. Owens with a fisherman’s buster off the middle rope onto a ladder. Sami Zayn came out to check on Owens. Rhodes fired up and sent him head first into the ring post. Owens was busted open. Owens with a low blow before Rhodes hit an Albama slam off the announce table through a ladder and got the titles down.
