Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown was newsworthy as it featured two new matches being announced for the Royal Rumble while top bouts at this show have received stipulations.
SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley will make her next title defense against Lacey Evans while Chad Gable will battle Sheamus in a singles match.
It was also revealed that WWE Universal Champion Bray Wyatt vs. Daniel Bryan will now be a Strap Match.
Finally, after Roman Reigns beat Robert Roode in a Tables Match in the headliner, Reigns revealed which stipulation he decided for his next match against Baron Corbin. This is where it made known that Reigns vs. Corbin at this show will take place under Falls Count Anywhere rules.
