WWE business is hot and the latest sign of their increasing popularity comes from this bit of new about plans to make Saturday Night’s Main Event available on satellite radio.
WrestleVotes is reporting that the show, which will air live on NBC and Peacock, will also stream on SiriusXM. WrestleVotes tweeted, “In a clear sign of their sustained popularity, WWE and SiriusXM will broadcast the audio of Saturday Night’s Main Event live on NBC Sports SiriusXM Channel 85 this weekend.”
To my knowledge, this is the first time in decades that WWE programming will stream on the radio. The company streamed some pay-per-view events on radio stations in the early 90’s through the “Radio WWF” Network.
