World Tag Team Champions AJ Styles & Dragon Lee vs. Je’Von Evans & Leon Slater took place at the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event from Washington, DC at the Capital One Arena.
This was a high-paced match. Lee hit a powebromb to Slater that popped the crowd. Styles got the hot tag and hit a series of moves, including a forearm shot, then a neck breaker and a face buster. Evans blocked a spring board move with a forearm shot. They weent to the floor and Evans missed a spring board moonsault. Lee with a hurricanrona off the apron and AJ caught him. Evans saved Slater with a superkick. Evans with a cutter off the top rope to AJ. Slater with a 450 splash to AJ for 2 as Lee broke it up. Lee with an outside dive to take out Lee. AJ went for the styles clash, but Slater got out of it. AJ slipped when going for the phenomenal forearm shot and Slater pinned him for 2. Slater missed a drop kick, and AJ hit the styles clash for the win.
Winner: Styles and Lee
