Lucha Underground's recent announcement that there will be a second season was something that was of interest to WWE because there were wrestlers that they were interested in.
Angelico and Richochet were two of the names that WWE had interest in. Ricochet already lives in Orlando and he is the roommate of Apollo Crews and if WWE can sign him then he could be fast tracked into matches with Finn Balor. That has been talked about.
The problem is that his contract with Lucha Underground is for seven-years and New Japan was looking at doing something with him so it doesn't look like WWE is in his immediate future. Obviously, things could change if Lucha Underground doesn't come back in 2017 for a third season.
