LA Knight was slated to be at a meet and greet on December 17, but Luekens Wine & Spirits announced Knight would be unable to attend due to injury.
Luekens Wine & Spirits announced the news via its Twitter/X account. The announcement read like, “Important Update🚨While we’re sad to announce that WWE Superstar LA Knight is unable to attend the December 27th event due to injury, we’ve got great news: WWE Superstar Braun Strowman has stepped up to replace him! We’ll be making an announcement shortly with details—stay tuned!”
Knight had dropped the United States Title to Shinsuke Nakamura at Survivor Series: WarGames. Knight last wrestled at the December 13th WWE SmackDown tapings in a six-man tag team bout. The match is scheduled to air this week.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that those in WWE stated Strowman is replacing Knight. The SmackDown star was never approved for this appearance. The better news is that Knight is not injured.
Knight has yet to comment on the matter.
