WWE has signed indie wrestler Victoria Gonzalez, according to SquaredCircleSirens. Gonzalez first contacted the company with a Tough Enough audition tape but didn’t make the show. Gonzalez had a tryout with WWE at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida in May. Gonzalez is a second-generation wrestler as her father Rick used the name Speedy Gonzalez or Rick “Desperado” Gonzalez for several years.
Once Gonzalez got out of high school, the 6-foot-1, 24 year old started training with her father at America’s Academy of Pro Wrestling in Austin, TX and Rudy Boy Gonzalez of the Texas Wrestling Academy in San Antonio.
Gonzalez will be relocating to Orlando and start training at the Performance Center soon.
