In a time where WWE is cutting talent both on the main roster and in NXT, the company reached terms with two NXT stars for new contracts.
Fightful Select reports Ever Rise (Chase Parker and Matt Martel) signed new WWE contracts.
The two wrestlers made various appearances for WWE in 2016 as jobbers and eventually were signed to deals in 2019. The company has been using them a lot more as of late both in NXT and 205 Live.
The report states they had heard WWE had offered them new contracts months ago as WWE wanted to get Ever Rise’s contracts to “match up” in length.
It was confirmed by WWE sources that Ever Rise did agree on the new deals months ago, but there’s no word yet on how long the deals are for.
Before joining WWE, they worked for various promotions such as Chikara, International Wrestling Syndicate, and ROH.
