The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE has signed Savelina Fanene to a WWE developmental deal. She is The Rock’s cousin and Rock’s grandfather and great grandmother were brother and sister. Savelina (aka Lina) is from California and has a background in sports. She was a star basketball player. She was at the WrestleMania 28 show when The Rock headlined with John Cena in Miami.
Lina took Ata Johnson’s suggestion and decided to try pro wrestling. WWE saw enough in her to sign her to a deal.
