WWE Signs Three Olympians

WWE has officially welcomed three highly accomplished international athletes from the worlds of Judo and discus throwing to its Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, to begin their journey towards becoming WWE Superstars. The new recruits bring impressive pedigrees from Olympic and international competition.

Among the signees is Shady Elnahas, 27, a decorated Judoka from Canada. Elnahas boasts multiple Pan-American Games gold medals (2019, 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024) and a 2022 Commonwealth Games gold medal in the 100 kg or less category. He represented Canada at both the 2020 Tokyo and 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

Joining him is Francois Prinsloo, 23, from South Africa. Prinsloo is an Olympian who represented his country in discus throwing at the 2024 Paris Olympics, showcasing his elite athletic background.

Rounding out the international trio is Austrian Judoka Aaron Fara, 27. Fara also competed at the Paris 2024 Olympics in both the men’s 100 kg or less category and the mixed team judo event. These signings underscore WWE’s continued global talent recruitment strategy, bringing world-class athletes into its developmental system.
