The latest edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown saw its ratings increase
Friday’s show averaged 1.933 million viewers on FOX, which is up from last week’s show that did 1.917 million viewers, according to PWTorch. In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.50 rating, up from the 0.44 rating last week.
This was the post-show edition of the blue brand for the WrestleMania Backlash show. The show featured Apollo Crews defending his Intercontinental title against Big E, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens in a fatal four-way match in the main event.
This week’s viewership was down 5.4% from the same week in 2020 while the key demo rating was even. The show did have to go up against NBA and NHL playoff games, which impacted SmackDown’s ratings.
