The latest edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown saw its ratings stay consistent.
Friday’s show averaged 1.944 million viewers on FOX, which is up from last week’s show that did 1.883 million viewers, according to Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics. In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.48 rating, down from the 0.50 rating last week.
The show did have to go up against NBA and NHL playoff games, which impacted SmackDown’s ratings.
The show featured The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) vs. The Alpha Academy (Otis & Chad Gable), Kevin Owens & Big E vs. Apollo Crews & Sami Zayn, in addition to the latest build in the Roman Reigns-Rey Mysterio feud.
This coming Friday night, WWE is advertising Kevin Owens & Big E vs Crews & Commander Azeez in a tag team match as well as Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Baron Corbin.
