WWE SmackDown 8/6/21 ratings increase from last week

The latest edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown saw its ratings rise.

Friday’s show averaged 2.169 million viewers on FOX, which is up from last week’s show that did 2.043 million viewers, according to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.

In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.61 rating, up from the 0.57 rating last week. This was the last week for SmackDown to face NBC’s Olympics coverage.

WWE was ranked second on broadcast television just behind the Olympics. The overnight ratings had the show doing under 2 million viewers. Here’s the rest of the viewership breakdown for the show:

The episode featured Finn Balor vs. Baron Corbin, Jey Uso vs. Dominik Mysterio, Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Apollo Crews, The Street Profits vs. Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode, Bianca Belair vs. Zelina Vega, and Baron Corbin vs. Finn Balor.
