WWE SmackDown 9/10/21 ratings increase for Brock Lesnar appearance and loaded card

The latest edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown saw the ratings increase big for a loaded show.

Friday’s show averaged 2.383 million viewers on FOX, which is up from last week’s show that did 2.220 million viewers, according to Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics.

This was the most-watched episode of SmackDown since the January 22nd edition and topped the July 17th episode, which was the first show back with fans and did 2.310 million viewers.

In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.65 rating, up from the 0.62 rating last week. Here’s the breakdown in each demo for the show, courtesy of ShowBuzz Daily:

Viewers 18-34 – 0.42
Viewers 18-49 – 0.65
Viewers 25-54 – 0.78
Female viewers 18-49 – 4.4
Male viewers 18-49 – 7.3
Viewers 50+ – 3.0

Last week’s show featured Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Finn Balor with the title on the line. This week’s episode featured a contract signing with Bianca Belair and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch Edge vs. Seth Rollins, Brock Lesnar returning to continue his feud with Paul Heyman and Reigns, SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos defending against The Street Profits, and more.
