WWE SmackDown Live viewership for 1/3/17: Viewership down from last week, loses to RAW in ratings

Tuesday’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live did 2,596 million viewers, which is down from the 2,885 million viewers the show did last Tuesday. The show was headlined by WWE Intercontinental Championship match that saw Dean Ambrose win the championship from The Miz. Unlike last week, SmackDown Live did not beat RAW in the ratings as Monday’s RAW drew 3,047 million viewers.

SmackDown’s viewership was expect to drop off a bit compared to last week’s show that featured three championship matches and the return of John Cena. SmackDown Live ranked #3 in the top 150 shows on cable for the night, which is the same ranking the show did last week.
