The overnight ratings are in for Friday’s WWE SmackDown episode. As expect, the numbers are back to normal after the shocking number that last week’s show did on FS1.
Friday’s show faced hurdles as the majority of the roster was stuck in Saudi Arabia which forced WWE to use talent that made it back from the country as well as those who didn’t travel and even called up some NXT talent.
The episode drew 2.543 million viewers, according to Showbuzz Daily. The show did a 0.41 in the 18-49 male demographic. Here were the hourly numbers:
- Hour 1: 2.605
- Hour 2: 2.481
This is up from last week’s 888,000 viewers that the show did on FS1 with a 0.27 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Two weeks ago when SmackDown aired on FOX, the show did 2.418 million viewers.
SmackDown was #8 for the night among the networks in viewership. It was behind American Housewife, 20/20, Hawaii Five-O, Magnum P.I., Blue Bloods, The Blacklist, and Dateline NBC among the top shows on network television.
It should be noted that this is the overnight number and the actual rating won’t be released until Monday.
