WWE SmackDown overnight ratings see an increase for tape-delay show



The overnight ratings are in for Friday’s WWE SmackDown episode. 

Despite it being a taped show that aired on a few hours delay on FOX from Manchester, England at the Manchester Arena, the overnight ratings did see an increase. 

The episode drew an average of 2.617 million viewers, which is up by 3.9% from last Friday's SmackDown episode that did an average of 2.520 million viewers.

The first hour saw it pull in 2.725 million viewers, then hour two dropped to 2.510 million viewers.

It also pulled in an average of .85 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which was #1 for the night. That is up slightly from the 0.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic last week. 

SmackDown was #7 for the night among the networks in viewership, up from last week’s #8 ranking. 

It was behind American Housewife, 20/20, Hawaii Five-O, Magnum P.I., Blue Bloods, The Blacklist, and Dateline NBC among the top shows on network television. 

It should be noted that this is the overnight number and the actual rating won’t be released until Monday.
