On a night dominated by the NBA Finals, WWE Friday Night SmackDown held its own, drawing an average of 1.401 million viewers on the USA Network for its June 13, 2025 broadcast. The numbers come courtesy of Programming Insider.
SmackDown was the third most-watched primetime telecast of the night in the 18-49 and 25-54 age ranges, behind only the NBA Finals and its pre-game show on ABC.
SmackDown scored a 0.38 rating in the coveted adults 18-49 demographic. In the adults 25-54 demo, the show earned a 0.48 rating.
The night’s leading broadcast was Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Indiana Pacers on ABC, which commanded a massive audience of 9.405 million viewers and an impressive 2.66 rating in the 18-49 demographic. The NBA Countdown pre-game show also performed well, attracting 3.209 million viewers.
Despite the heavy sports competition, SmackDown’s demographic breakdown showed strong results, particularly with male viewers. The show registered a 0.47 rating in males 18-49 and a 0.63 rating in males 25-54. For females, the program drew a 0.29 rating in the 18-49 demo and a 0.33 in the 25-54 demo.
Other notable programs of the night included Fox News’s Jesse Watters Primetime, which was the top non-sports cable telecast with 2.918 million viewers, and the College World Series on ESPN, which garnered 963,000 viewers.
