Last week on SmackDown, Drew McIntyre interrupted the main event match involving the new Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes. The show ended with McIntyre standing over Cody Rhodes, making his intentions for the championship clear. Tonight, he will address the WWE fans and explain his actions.

The Miz And Carmelo Hayes Team Up, The Street Profits Battle DIY

The show will also feature a new tag team, as The Miz will team up with former NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes. In another tag team bout, The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) take on #DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa).

The new Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes, and the man he defeated at SummerSlam, John Cena, are also both expected to be on the show. Cena is set to continue his program with Logan Paul ahead of their Clash in Paris match.

Tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown will continue the build to the upcoming premium live events, Clash in Paris on August 31 and the unannounced September 20 PLE in Indianapolis. The show airs live tonight at 8 p.m. ET on the USA Network.
