WWE SmackDown Preview: Final Stop Before SummerSlam, Two Title Matches

Tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown is the final stop on the road to this weekend’s massive two-night SummerSlam premium live event. The go-home show from Newark, New Jersey, will feature two championship matches and the final confrontations for SummerSlam’s biggest rivalries.

Final Confrontations Before SummerSlam

With their Street Fight for the Undisputed WWE Championship just days away, both Cody Rhodes and John Cena will be live on SmackDown to make their final statements. Also scheduled to appear is musical artist Jelly Roll, who will be in the building ahead of his in-ring debut in a massive tag team match this weekend.

Championships On The Line

Two titles will be on the line tonight. First, Giulia will defend the WWE Women’s United States Championship in a rematch against former champion Zelina Vega. Also, the reigning AAA World Tag Team Champions, Los Garza (Angel & Berto), have issued an open challenge for their titles. In other action, Damian Priest is scheduled to go one-on-one with Aleister Black.
