CM Punk and Kevin Owens will meet in a No Holds Barred match on tonight’s WWE SmackDown from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The show was taped Monday after Raw and is the final SmackDown before Crown Jewel on Saturday.
Punk and Owens have been feuding for months. On Wednesday’s NXT, Owens distracted Punk during his NXT Championship match against Grayson Waller, allowing Waller to pin Punk and retain the title, WWE said in its preview.
B-Fab and Michin will defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Fatal Influence’s Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid. B-Fab and Michin won the titles from Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley. Henley and Reid are former champions looking to become two-time champions.
Former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest will face Nathan Frazer. Priest attacked his former partner R-Truth, and Frazer and Fraxiom came to Truth’s aid.
Shinsuke Nakamura will face WWE Tag Team Champion Tama Tonga. Bakusai and The MFTs were scheduled to meet last week, but Kyoki stole the Tongan staff, angering Haku and the Tongas.
As of this writing, WWE has announced the following for tonight’s show:
- CM Punk vs. Kevin Owens (No Holds Barred)
- B-Fab and Michin (c) vs. Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid (WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship)
- Damian Priest vs. Nathan Frazer
- Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Tama Tonga
WWE Champion Sami Zayn, WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green, Gunther and Finn Balor are also advertised. Zayn faces Roman Reigns in a champion vs. champion match at Crown Jewel in Riyadh on Saturday.
SmackDown airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET on USA Network.
