WWE SmackDown results 1/28/16 (SPOILERS taped on 1/26/16)



WWE was in Tampa, FL at the Amalie Arena on Tuesday night for the Main Event and SmackDown TV tapings. Here are the spoilers.

Dark Match: Mark Henry defeated Tyler Breeze.

Main Event Spoilers:

- Singles Match: Kevin Owens defeated Jack Swagger.

- Tag Team Match: The Dudley Boyz defeated The Ascension.

- Singles Match: Rusev defeated Ryback.

SmackDown Spoilers:

- Neville vs. Kalisto will take place later in the show.

- The New Day opens the show with an in-ring promo about Monday’s RAW and The Rock. They pointed out that The Rock had no gold like they did. They said that The Rock isn’t PG and what he called their Unicorn headband were not lama penies. The Miz walked out and agreed with the group. He talked about himself then said that The Usos are riding The Rock’s coattails. This led to Usos walking out and said that they’re not here to talk, but to fight. They brought out Titus O’Neil and Dolph Ziggler. The four men run down to the ring and clear it.

- Eight-Man Tag Team Match: The Usos, Dolph Ziggler, and Titus O'Neil defeated The New Day and The Miz.

- U.S Title Match: Kalisto © defeated Neville.

- There was a Chris Jericho Highlight Reel segment with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. The Wyatt Family interrupted and this set up the main event of the show. 

- Singles Match: AJ Styles defeated Curtis Axel.

- Singles Match: Charlotte defeated Natalya. Post-match, Charlotte beat down Natalya until Becky Lynch ran down to make the save.

- Sasha Banks tells Tamina and Naomi that she is out of Team BAD during a backstage segment.

- There is R-Truth - Goldust segment shown.

- Six-Man Tag Team Match: Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Chris Jericho defeated Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan via DQ when Braun Strowman ran in and attacked the faces. Post-match, The Wyatts beat down the faces until Big Show ran down to the ring to make the save. His attempt failed as The Wyatts beat Show down and stood tall to close the show.
