Natalya & Shotzi vs Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler
Natalya had Rousey in the Sharpshooter, but Baszler broke it up. Natalya threw Baszler out of the ring and tagged in Shotzi. They had Rousey set up for the Heart Attack, but Baszler tripped up Natalya. Rousey then applied the Armbar on Shotzi for the submission.
In the ring, Top Dolla, Ashante Thee Adonis, and B-Fab were running down the crowd in Montreal. Bray Wyatt and Uncle Howdy came to the ring. Wyatt gave Top Dolla the Mandible Claw and threw him over the top rope. He then gave Adonis the Mandible Claw. Howdy then gave Adonis the Sister Abigail. Wyatt said the winner of the Brock Lesnar-Bobby Lashley match at Elimination Chamber should run.
Backstage, Madcap Moss said nobody expected him to win last week and he will win the Intercontinental Title tonight.
Drew McIntyre & Sheamus vs The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) (with Valhalla)
Ivar came off the tope rope with a splash on McIntyre and made a tag to Erik. They had McIntyre set up for the Ragnarok, but Sheamus hit Ivar with the Brogue Kick to break it up. McIntyre hit Erik with the Claymore Kick and pinned him.
Backstage, Rey Mysterio was in the interview area. They showed a clip from last Friday after SmackDown where Santos Escobar gave Rey Mysterio a mask and said he respects him. Mysterio gave Escobar a mask for him to create his own legacy and they hugged. When the clip was over, Mysterio said he knew that meant a lot to Escobar and that meant a lot to him. Karrion Kross and Scarlett showed up. Kross said he once wanted to be a father, but after he saw the lack of respect and the look of disgust in Dominik’s eyes he had for him, he realized that might not be for him. He said Rey was a pathetic excuse for a father.
Asuka vs Liv Morgan
Carmella was on commentary. Raquel Rodriguez came down to argue with Carmella. Nikki Cross also came down to the commentary booth and started kissing Michael Cole on the top of his head and then sat on Wade Barrett’s lap. Natalya came down to the ring. Morgan went for a Roll-up, but Asuka escaped and hit got the Armbar on Morgan which caused her to submit. Carmella entered the ring and kicked Asuka. Natalya clotheslined Carmella. Cross gave Natalya a Swinging Neckbreaker. Rodriguez hit the Tejana Bomb on Cross. Rodriguez helped Morgan up, but Morgan gave her.
Backstage, Gunther said he’s held the Intercontinental Title for 250 days and he will defeat Madcap Moss tonight.
Intercontinental Title Match: Gunther (c) (with Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci) vs Madcap Moss (with Emma)
Moss hit the Fall-A-Way Slam on Gunther off the top rope. Moss charged at Gunther, but Gunther caught him in a sleeper hold and then gave him a Powerbomb for the pin.
Sami Zayn got a great reaction from his hometown as he made his way to the ring. Zayn looked like he was holding back tears from the reaction he received as they sang, ‘Ole, Ole’ and chanted, ‘You deserve it’ and “Sami, Sami.’ Zayn said year after year, people point to the WrestleMania sign, but tomorrow night, for him and this city is once in a lifetime. He said tomorrow night it is Roman Reigns against Sami Zayn and the entire city of Montreal and Reigns is going down.
