In the ring, John Cena welcomed us to the season premier of SmackDown. Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and Paul Heyman got in the ring. Reigns told Cena that the GOAT is the Tribal Chief. He told Cena to leave or we’re going to make you leave. Cena said I’m not here to challenge you, I’m here to acknowledge you. I’m not here to challenge you tonight because I haven’t earned it, but I do know someone who has. LA Knight’s music hit and he came down. LA Knight told Reigns that while you have been sitting on your couch the last month and a half, things have changed. Jimmy Uso jumped Knight from behind, but Knight threw him through the ropes. Reigns, Solo, and Heyman left the ring and Reigns told Solo to end him.
Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson) vs Brawling Brutes (Ridge Holland & Butch)
Prince faked an injury. The referee checked on him and told Holland to move away. While the referee was checking on Prince, Wilson kicked Holland in the head. Prince got up from faking his injury and rolled up Holland for the pinfall.

Backstage, Carlito was interrupted by Bobby Lashley. Carlito challenged Lashley to a match and The Street Profits attacked Carlito from behind before Adam Pearce told them to break it up.
Backstage, Bayley interrupted Adam Pearce as he was checking on Carlito. Bayley and Zelina Vega started arguing and Pearce told them to settle it in the ring.
Backstage, Roman Reigns asked Jimmy Uso what is he doing. Jimmy said I’m trying to be you. I’m calling the plays. Reigns said if you were the quarterback, what would you do. Jimmy said I would get Jey. Roman said Jey is old news. The only thing that matters is the tag titles and everyday you don’t have the titles is disrespecting The Bloodline and the fact Jey is running around with Cody Rhodes is a slap in the face. You don’t call audibles. I call the plays.
Bayley (w/ IYO SKY & Dakota Kai) vs Zelina Vega
SKY got on the ring apron. Vega gave SKY a 619 to her stomach. As Vega turned around, Bayley hit her with a knee and gave her the Rose Plant and pinned her. After the match, Damage CTR attacked Vega. Charlotte came into the ring which caused Damage CTRL to leave.
===Winner: Bayley
Triple H came to the ring. He told Adam Pearce that he’s done a great job for the last three years as a WWE official and promoted him to the General Manager of Monday Night RAW. Before Triple H could announce who would be the General Manager of SmackDown, Dominik Mysterio came out and said Judgment Day was screwed out of their tag team titles. Triple H said you’re yelling at the wrong people. Let me introduce the General Manager of SmackDown, Nick Aldis. Aldis said Cody was instrumental in bringing Jey Uso to RAW and in exchange, a RAW Superstar must come to SmackDown. Aldis introduced Kevin Owens. Owens entered the ring and gave Dominik a Stunner.
In the back, Nick Aldis told Charlotte Flair that next week you will go one on one with IYO for the championship. Charlotte thanked him. She turned around to see Jade Cargill and Triple H. Triple H was ready to introduce Charlotte to Jade, but Charlotte said I know who you are Jade. It’s nice to meet you. Jade said it’s my pleasure. Charlotte said, oh, it will be.
Undisputed WWE Tag Team Title Match
Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso vs Austin Theory & Grayson Waller
Theory gave Cody a neckbreaker, but Jey broke up the pin. Jey superkicked Waller and Theory. Jey and Cody gave Theory the Cody 1-D. Cody gave Theory the Cross Rhodes and pinned him.
===Winners: Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso
After the match as Jey and Cody were walking up the aisle, they were confronted by Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, Roman Reigns, and Paul Heyman. Nick Aldis came between Roman and Cody and told them not tonight.
LA Knight vs Jimmy Uso
Jimmy Uso entered the ring, but Cena came in and gave him an AA. Solo spiked Cena. Knight gave Solo the BFT and pinned him.
===Winner: LA Knight
After the match, Reigns speared Knight to end the show.
