Brock Lesnar F-5’s R-Truth
The crowd chanted, “You suck” at Lesnar. When Lesnar got ready to speak, R-Truth came to the ring and welcomed Brock back but said he’s not scared of him. Lesnar said I don’t even know who you are, but you better have a good reason for coming out here. Truth said you’ve been disrespecting John Cena for the past 25 years. Lesnar said he’s here for one thing and that’s for John Cena. Truth said he’s here to defend his older brother, John Cena and then said his name is Ron Cena. Lesnar split his pants as he picked up Truth and gave him an F-5.
Backstage:
Sami Zayn told Rey Phoenix he’s glad John Cena gave him the green light to keep the U.S. Open Challenge going, and he’s happy to face him for the first time.
Solo Sikoa vignette:
Solo said he had to sacrifice loyalty and his own flesh and blood to be the United States Championship. Now he’s lost the title and he lost the Bloodline. He vowed to win back the title and lead his family.
United States Open Challenge Match: Sami Zayn (Champion) vs Rey Fenix
Zayn caught Fenix with an Exploder. Fenix hit a hurricanrana for a near fall and followed it up with the Goodbye Amigo. Zayn ducked a spinning kick and gave Fenix another Exploder into the corner. He then hit the Helluva Kick for the pinfall to retain the championship.
Winner and still United States Champion: Sami Zayn
Earlier today:
Giulia and Kiana James told B-Fab that we made an example out of Michin last week. B-Fab said I’ve been busy with the Street Profits, but I’m ready for a match with you tonight which Giulia accepted.
Wyatt Sicks vignette:
Uncle Howdy said he tested The Street Profits in Paris and they failed. Erik Rowan said the Profit’s brotherhood is infected and they have a tough choice whether to stay together or split up.
Giulia (w/Kiana James) vs B-Fab
Kiana James and Giulia immediately jumped B-Fab. Michin’s music hit. Giulia sent James after her as she ran down the aisle but was met with a kendo stick shot from Michin. Michin went after Giulia in the ring who escaped before she got hit with the stick.
Aleister Black vignette:
Black said his war with Damian Priest will continue.
WWE Women’s Championship: Tiffany Stratton (Champion) vs Jade Cargill
Tiffany and Jade slugged it out in the middle of the ring. Jade went for a kick, Tiffany ducked, and Jade went over the top rope to the ring apron. She brought Tiffany over the top rope onto the apron. Jade charged at her but Tiffany moved out of the way and Jade crashed into the ring post. Tiffany kicked Jade causing Jane to fall to the mat. Tiffany missed a moonsault off the top turnbuckle and came crashing down to the mat. Jade charged at Tiffany and speared her into the guard rail. The bell rang as both wrestlers were counted out of the ring.
Nia Jax came down the aisles and attacked Jade slamming her into the ring post and steps. She then gave her a Samoan Drop onto the mat. Nia then headbutted Tiffany Stratton, threw her in the ring, and slammed her to the mat. She followed it up with an Annihilator and motioned that she wanted the title.
Backstage:
Chelsea Green confronted Nick Aldis and said she’s been waiting for her tag team championship opportunities. Aldis said Charlotte’s injury was legitimate. He said Charlotte and Alexa are defending the tag team titles at NXT Homecoming and they can face the winners of that match.
Nick Aldis and The Miz bumped into each other. Aldis said he already talked to Carmelo Hayes and if he wants to grab that opportunity, he can.
At the AAA Show:
Dominik Mysterio told Rey Mysterio that he is going to be the first Mysterio to become Mega Champion. He told Rey that after he wins, he wants him to come out and raise his hand and put the title around his waist. Rey agreed to that if he wins. Rey left and Finn Balor came in. He told Dominik that the way to show the world that he’s the greatest Luchador of all time is to go out there and win the championship alone. He then wished him good luck.
Backstage:
Sami Zayn said Rey Fenix is going to be a big star. Carmelo Hayes showed up and asked for a shot at the United States Championship. Zayn agreed to give him the next shot. Hayes turned around and The Miz was there. Miz said he talked to Aldis who said you asked him for a title opportunity. Carmelo said, I did, for the United States title. Miz said I’ve been guiding you to the tag team titles. Carmelo said we can have both.
Randy Orton vs Drew McIntyre
McIntrye dodged a DDT by going outside the ring. Orton followed him out there and gave him two side suplexes on the announce table. Orton threw McIntyre back in the ring. McIntyre hit him with a Claymore Kick as Orton got back in the ring. Orton hit McIntyre with a RKO but McIntyre rolled out of the ring. H hit McIntyre with a DDT as he was trying to get back in the ring. Orton went for the punt but the referee got in front of him and told him not to do it. He went to the other side of the ring to deliver the punt but McIntyre moved out of the way. McIntyre tried to push Orton into the referee but Orton put the brakes on before he crashed into him. Orton turned around and got hit with a Claymore Kick and was pinned.
After the match, McIntyre threw Orton out of the ring. Cody Rhodes came running into the ring and gave McIntyre the Cody Cutter. Cody grabbed the microphone and said, “The champ is back. We can do this at Wrestlepalooza.”
