Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton confront each other
The show started with Cody Rhodes coming to the ring. Before he could get a word out, Randy Orton’s music played and he came to the ring. Orton told Cody he needs to win King of the Ring to redeem himself last year when he fell short to Gunther as well as get redemption against John Cena. Even though he respects Cody, there is nothing he won’t do to win the crown. Cody told Orton he is thankful to him for what he taught him, but he needs the crown even more than him.
Backstage:
Solo Sikoa told JC Mateo that he wants to give Jimmy Uso one more opportunity to come back to the family since he’s all alone. He told JC to go out there and remind Jimmy what it’s like to have no backup and to take care of him tonight, and then tomorrow, Solo will take care of Jacob Fatu.
Jimmy Uso vs JC Mateo (w/ Solo Sikoa)
Uso charged at Mateo in the corner with a running hip strike. As Mateo retreated outside, Uso gave hit him with a suicide dive. Solo Sikoa grabbed at Uso’s leg to create to distract Jimmy before Mateo nailed him with the Tour of the Islands. After the match, Solo offered a hug to Jimmy, but got slugged in the jaw with an upper cut. Mateo attacked Jimmy from behind before Solo held him up. As Solo went for the spike on Jimmy, Jacob Fatu ran into the ring and gave Mateo a pop-up powerbomb. Solo slid out of the ring before Jacob connected with a moonsault off the top rope onto Mateo. Jimmy and Jacob had a staredown. Solo charged at Jacob from behind, but Jimmy pushed Jacob out of the way and hit Solo with a kick which sent him out of the ring.

Backstage:
#DIY tried to rally the other teams to do something about the Wyatt Sicks. Nick Aldis entered the scene and made a match for Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa against Andrade and a mystery partner.
WWE Women’s United States Championship: Zelina Vega (c) vs Giulia
Vega hit Giulia with a Code Red and went for the pin, but Giulia’s feet were on the ropes. Vega missed a moonsault allowing Giulia to hit her with two Arrivederci Knees and a Northern Lights Bomb to pinned her.
Winner and new WWE Women’s United States Champion: Zelina Vega
Backstage:
Charlotte told Alexa Bliss that she doesn’t want to be friends. Bliss said they don’t have to be friends, but think of it as allies of convenience.
In the ring:
Wade Barrett interviewed Jade Cargill and Asuka. Jade said she plans on not only taking the crown, but the whole throne. Asuka said nobody is ready for Asuka which brought out Naomi. She said she has all the power as she can cash in Money in the Bank tonight or at Night of Champions tomorrow. Jade pushed Asuka out of the way to go after Naomi. Asuka took exception to that and laid out Jade with a kick.
Backstage:
Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis agreed that they need to figure out what they are going to do with the Women’s Tag Team Titles. Aleister Black entered the scene. Before he could speak, R-Truth came in and told Black to back off. Truth told Pearce and Aldis that he wants John Cena.
#DIY (Tomasso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) vs Andrade & Rey Fenix
Fenix hit Ciampa with the Black Firedriver. Andrade picked Ciampa off the mat and hit him with the Message to pin him.
Winners: Andrade & Rey Fenix
In the ring:
R-Truth called John Cena to come to the ring. Black appeared behind Truth. Truth turned around and was met by Black Mass who told Truth we’re even now.
Backstage:
Aleister Black told Priest to confront Truth face to face next time because the outcome will be a lot different. Carmelo Hayes showed up and told Priest to mind his own business before he ends up as a casualty. Priest told Carmelo to walk away.
WWE Tag Team Championship: The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) (c) vs The Wyatt Sicks (Joe Gacy & Dexter Lumis) (w/ Uncle Howdy, Erik Rowan and Nikki Cross)
#DIY attacked Dawkins for the disqualification ending. The Motor City Machine Guns and Fraxiom came out and the teams brawled with each other.
In the parking lot, Jimmy Uso told Jacob Fatu that he didn’t need his help. Jacob told Jimmy he didn’t need his help last week. Jimmy said that what Jacob did to Solo Sikoa was what he should’ve done a long time ago. The two of them seem to be on the same page in terms of respecting each other.
Last Woman Standing for WWE Women’s Championship: Tiffany Stratton (c) vs Nia Jax
Naomi got in the ring wanting to cash in her Money in the Bank. Stratton got the briefcase from her and hit her in the head with it. She then hit Jax with it and threw her on Naomi. With Jax on Naomi, Stratton hit the Prettiest Moonsault on Jax which sent Naomi rolling out of the ring.
Stratton blocked a superplex attempt through two tables before striking Jax with the MITB briefcase, sending Jax through two tables. As a result of this, Jax was left knocked out and unable to answer the count of ten, which gave Stratton the win.
Winner: Tiffany Stratton
John Cena – CM Punk face to face
CM Punk came out to Cena’s old music Word Life. Punk said he’s stealing Word Life because Cena stole his pipe bomb interview. Punk rapped his interview saying Cena buried more talent than The Undertaker.
