The show kicks off with Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo arriving in their vehicle. Jacob Fatu reached into the car window and started punching him. Mateo got out of the vehicle and was met with Jacob slamming him into the car door. Security arrived along with Nick Aldis to break it up.
In the ring:
Cody Rhodes came out to start the show. Randy Orton came down and admitted he was hesitant in completing the punt kick on Rhodes at Night of Champions. Rhodes promised to take out John Cena Cena at SummerSlam. Drew McIntyre then interrupted Orton and Cody and attempted to turn them against one another, but Orton laid him out with an RKO.
Earlier today:
Nick Aldis told Charlotte Flair that she will be teaming with Alexa Bliss tonight in a triple threat match against the Secret Hervice and Michin and B-Fab. If they win, they will get a tag team title match at Evolution. Bliss told Charlotte she doesn’t want to be friends, but they should be tag team partners. Charlotte agreed to the match.
Backstage:
Drew McIntyre told Nick Aldis he wants Randy Orton. Aldis said he can’t have him tonight because Orton left the building, however, he can have him at Saturday Night’s Main Event. McIntyre turned around had a staredown with Jacob Fatu before leaving. Aldis told Jacob if can find himself a partner, then he can have Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo tonight in the ring. Jimmy Uso showed up and agreed to be Jacob’s partner.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Triple Threat Match: The Secret Hervice (Piper Niven & Alba Fyre) (w/Chelsea Green) vs Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs B-Fab & Michin
Charlotte Flair went to the top rope and patted Bliss on the head and delivered a moonsault on Niven. After Green got on the ring apron, Charlotte hit her in face with a big kick sending Green to the floor. Bliss hit the Twisted Bliss on Fyre as Charlotte didn’t realize when she tapped Bliss on the head, that counted as a tag. Afterwords, Charlotte hugged Bliss after the match.
Winners: Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss
Wyatt Sicks (Uncle Howdy, Erik Rowan, Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy) (w/ Nikki Cross) vs Johnny Gargano, Berto, Montez Ford and Chris Sabin
Gargano refused to tag Sabin. As a result, Rowan gave Sabin the Iron Claw Slam and pinned him.
Winners: Wyatt Sicks
In the ring:
Before Tiffany Stratton could announce who she is choosing to be her opponent at SummerSlam, Jade Cargill came to the ring. Cargill told Stratton to choose wisely. Stratton brought out Trish Stratus and offered her the opportunity to face her at Evolution. Stratton said her kids have never seen her as the champion. She concluded that she would love to be an 8-time champion. Jade said that’s fine as I will face either of you at SummerSlam. Stratton concluded that the WWE runs on Tiffy-time.
Vignette:
Solo Sikoa welcomed Tala Tonga into the fold, reinforcing the idea that his new faction is more dangerous than the Bloodline ever was. He told Tala and Tama to remain backstage as he assured them that he and Mateo would handle the situation personally. Solo concluded that his family is now complete.
Backstage:
Jade Cargill reminded Trish Stratus that if Trish wins at Evolution, she will be facing her at SummerSlam. Stratus said that’s okay and walked off. Naomi attacked Jade with the Money in the Bank briefcase and told her she should have proceeded with caution. After Naomi walked away, Nick Aldis came over to check on Jade. Jade demanded a match with Naomi.
Andrade & Rey Fenix vs Fraxiom (Axiom & Nathan Frazer)
Andrade elbowed Frazer in the face. Fenix gave Axiom the Adios Amigos. Andrade followed up with The Message on Frazer and pinned him.
Winners: Andrade & Rey Fenix
Backstage:
Damian Priest told Aleister Black that he just found out Black has a match with R-Truth next week on SmackDown.
Jacob Fatu & Jimmy Uso vs Solo Sikoa & JC Mateo
Jimmy dove over the top rope onto Mateo. Meanwhile, Jacob dove through the ropes onto Solo. Jacob threw Solo back in the ring. Solo dodged a Stinger Splash from Jacob. Jacob blocked the Samoan Spike. As a result, Jacob was able to give Solo an Impaler DDT and a moonsault off he top rope to pin him.
Winners: Jacob Fatu & Jimmy Uso
After the match, Jacob set Solo up on the announce table. As he was about to come off the top rope with a splash, Tala Tonga came in and chokeslammed him off the top rope. Jimmy Uso tried to go after Tala, but Tama Tonga jumped Jimmy. Eventually Mateo made his way into the ring and hit Jimmy with the Tour of the Islands. Tama followed this up by giving Jimmy a neckbreaker off the ring apron. Mateo, Tama and Tala held Jacob which allowed Solo to give him the Samoan Spike. They went outside and gave Jacob a triple power bomb through the announce desk to end the show.
