WWE SmackDown results 1/7/16 (SPOILERS taped on 1/5/16)

WWE was in Laredo, TX at the Laredo Energy Arena on Tuesday night for the Main Event and SmackDown TV tapings. Here are the spoilers: 

Main Event Spoilers:

–  Titus O’Neil defeated Stardust

–  Tyler Breeze defeated Zack Ryder.

–  The Usos defeated Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel with a roll up.

SmackDown Spoilers:

– John Cena walks down to the ring to open the show. Cena cuts a promo about how great it is to be back on SmackDown and on the USA Network. He says that he was cost by The League of Nations a few weeks back on RAW in his title match with Alberto Del Rio. Cena demands that Del Rio comes out. Del Rio does, and Cena wants a rematch for the U.S Title. Del Rio denies him and then taunts him to close the segment.

– Non-Title Match: Kalisto defeated Alberto Del Rio.

– The Miz is in the ring for a Miz TV segment but is quickly interrupted by The New Day. The group talks about Chris Jericho before being interrupted by Dolph Ziggler, then Goldust. R-Truth and Neville also come out. This sets up a match.

– Eight-Man Tag Team Match: Dolph Ziggler, Goldust, R-Truth and Neville defeated The New Day and The Miz.

– Divas Championship Match: Charlotte (c) defeated Becky Lynch.

– Intercontinental Title Match: Dean Ambrose © vs. Kevin Owens ended in a double count-out. The two brawled around the ring and to the back after the match.
