A familiar face returned to the NXT brand tonight at the Vengeance Day show that is airing on Peacock.
Dabba Kato, the former Commander Azeez, appeared at ringside during the match between Carmelo Hayes and Apollo Crews. It seemed as if Kato was there to help out Crews because he kept Trick Williams from interfering.
However, Kato showed his true colors when he attacked Crews after the match, thus betraying his former best friend. It’s the first time Dabba Kato has appeared on WWE TV in many months.
Kato wrestled on a couple of NXT live events last month but the last time he was regularly featured on TV, aside from some Main Event tapings, was last March. Click here for complete WWE NXT Vengeance Day results.
