WWE likes to split up tag teams and it looks like the split between Madcap Moss and Baron Corbin is coming up soon. It’s also becoming clear who will be the babyface when they begin their feud.
It was announced during Friday Night SmackDown that Moss would take on Drew McIntyre in a singles match at WWE Day 1. The match was made after it was suggested by Corbin, to the chagrin of Moss.
The Moss/Corbin feud with McIntyre has been going on for weeks and Jeff Hardy was involved until he was released last week. WWE has continued with the storyline and they have dropped all Hardy mentions from their shows.
This week on SmackDown, McIntyre was seen confronting Moss and Corbin, who had stolen the sword that McIntyre put through an office table. Later in the show, Corbin and Moss were interviewed in a dark room. It was made clear that Moss did not like being put in a singles match with McIntyre. WWE has been dropping hints about a split in recent weeks so it looks like a turn is imminent with Corbin remaining as a heel.
