WWE continues to make changes to its live event schedule due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The company has locally announced that its upcoming SmackDown UK tour has been postponed. The tour, slated for May, saw its dates be pushed back to October while there is one date moved to April 2021.
Here’s the updated schedule:
-Glasgow, Scotland: May 3rd pushed back to October 7th
-Birmingham, England: May 5th pushed back to October 4th
-Cardiff, Wales: May 6th pushed back to October 5th
-Sheffield, England: May 7th pushed back to October 6th
-London, England: May 8th pushed back to October 9th (Friday Night SmackDown TV taping)
-Newcastle, England: May 4th pushed back to April 30th, 2021
Also, WWE has been forced to cancel the NXT UK tapings in Bournemouth, England, for May 1st and 2nd, which would’ve served as the fallout tapings for the also canceled NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin event.
The TV tapings at the UK Download Festival in mid-June have also been canceled. For now, the next set of TV tapings for the brand is slated for Friday, July 24th and Saturday, July 25th in Glasgow, Scotland.
WWE last held a set of NXT UK TV tapings back in early March. For now, they plan to run the best-of episodes for the weekly TV program.
