WWE SmackDown: Two Title Bouts, Elimination Chamber Qualifying Matches

WWE Friday Night SmackDown takes place tonight from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The show features two championship matches and key qualifying bouts for the upcoming Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event.

Jade Cargill is set to defend the WWE Women’s Championship for the first time since winning the title in November. She will face Jordynne Grace, a former TNA Knockouts Champion.

Tag Team Titles On The Line

In the tag team division, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships will be on the line. Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY are scheduled to defend their titles against the team of Nia Jax and Lash Legend. Legend has been on a winning streak since signing with SmackDown late last year. Ripley and SKY have previously secured victories over The Judgment Day and the team of Giulia and Kiana James.

Qualifying matches for the Elimination Chamber event in Chicago are also set for the show. In the men’s division, Cody Rhodes, Jacob Fatu, and Sami Zayn will compete in a Triple Threat match. The winner will earn a spot in the chamber match, where they will compete for a shot at WWE Champion Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 42.
