WWE has apparently made a change to when the King of the Ring finals will take place.
WWE previously said that the finals would take place at the Clash of Champions pay-per-view. However, the graphic that was shown at the end of SmackDown Live said that the finals would take place this Monday on Raw.
In a case of the right hand not knowing what the left is doing, WWE’s social media team tweeted the graphic that was shown with their caption hyping the match as happening on Sunday at Clash of Champions.
We’ll wait for confirmation from WWE but it looks like Vince McMahon made a late decision to move the KOTR finals to Monday Night Raw. This week’s Raw viewership dropped to near-record lows so this could be a reaction to the bad viewership number.
