WWE Sold A Lot Of Tickets After John Cena Declared For The Royal Rumble

WWE presents the Royal Rumble premium live event on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from Indianapolis, IN at Lucas Oil Stadium. Tickets for the show have started to move.

A week ago, during the Raw on Netflix premiere episode from LA, John Cena announced that he would not only enter the Royal Rumble but also vowed to win. The chance of Cena winning the bout and going onto WrestleMania 41 to challenge World Champion GUNTHER or Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is expected among oddsmakers as he is currently a -200 favorite to win the Rumble.

Should he win one of the World Titles this year as part of this retirement tour, he will break the record for the most reigns as World Champion. LA Knight, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Jey Uso are the other confirmed entrants.

WrestleTix, which does a great job of tracking ticket sales for all pro wrestling events, noted that the show has distributed over 53,000 tickets, with over 3,100 tickets being distributed since Cena’s announcement. Since tracking ticket sales in 2021, WrestleTix pointed out Cena had added 2-3K tickets to every show he appeared on and did so again with the Rumble.
