WWE Raw superstar Chad Gable has provided an update on the injury that has kept him out of action since June. During an appearance at a Minnesota Twins baseball game on Sunday, Gable revealed he is dealing with a rotator cuff injury.
Gable Dealing With Rotator Cuff Injury
Gable, who was wearing a sling on his arm, explained that while the injury is a setback, he is trying to find the positive in the situation, as it has allowed him to spend more time with his family.
“I’m looking at the silver lining here. I have a little injury to my rotator cuff,” Gable said. “But what it did do was buy me some time off the road to be home with my family and do stuff like this, go to a baseball game on a Sunday, which I never get to do. So find the bright side, right?”
Written Off Television, Character Replaced
Gable was written out of storylines on the June 23rd episode of Raw when Penta appeared to snap his arm. It was previously reported that he had undergone shoulder surgery. During Gable’s absence, his masked persona of El Grande Americano has been portrayed by Ludwig Kaiser. Gable’s injury is a blow to the American Made faction on Monday Night Raw, which also includes the Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile.
There is currently no timetable for his return to the ring. We wish him a speedy recovery.
