WWE star demands match on SmackDown Live after lengthy TV layoff

One SmackDown Live star is upset about watching from the sidelines for the past few months. He’s demanding a match on Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live. That Superstar is none other than former WWE United States Champion Shelton Benjamin.

Benjamin made his WWE return last year and was thrown into a tag team with Chad Gable. Unfortunately, they were never able to capture tag team gold together and Gable was later moved to Monday Night Raw. After an unsuccessful bid at the United States Title and a few more losses on WWE TV, its been months since Benjamin has been seen on television.

Today, Benjamin took to Twitter and demanded a match on Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live:

“I Am a warrior I am a competitor & I am DAMN GOOD! Yet I have not had a match on in months. I’m here to compete I thrive on competition Its time you Got me off the bench & LET ME FIGHT!”
