WWE Star Expected To Be A ‘Vital Part’ Of Women’s Division Going Forward

Natalya’s recent work on the independent scene has reportedly impressed WWE officials enough to integrate her new persona into Monday Night Raw. According to a report from WrestleVotes, the veteran superstar’s “Lowkey Legend” character is expected to be a significant focus moving forward.

Management Noticed Fan Reception

WrestleVotes reported that WWE upper management paid close attention to Natalya’s excursions to various independent promotions. Her performances and the character she developed during this period generated a positive response that did not go unnoticed by the company’s decision-makers.

“According to those we spoke to, we can report that Natalya’s work as the Low Key Legend across several different promotions quickly caught the attention of upper management, including how well it was being received by fans everywhere, both in person and online through social media,” WrestleVotes reported.

Plans For The Women’s Division

Due to the strong reception, WWE made the call to bring the “Lowkey Legend” persona to national television. The report indicates that the company views this character reinvention as a way to re-establish Natalya as a key player in the division.

“The decision was then made to bring the character to WWE with hopes that Nattie will be a vital part and a strong part of the Women’s Division going forward,” the report stated.

Storyline With Maxine Dupri

The integration of this character began recently on Raw with a vignette featuring Natalya and the current Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Maxine Dupri. This storyline appears to be the launching pad for Natalya’s renewed push.

The segment that aired this past week signaled the official start of this new chapter for the former SmackDown Women’s Champion.
