WWE star explains why he thinks Brock Lesnar should headline WrestleMania 35

Talk of which match should headline WrestleMania 35 continues. This time it comes from WWE star TJP, who is a former WWE Cruiserweight Champion.

Currently, WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar defending the title against Seth Rollins and WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey defending against Charlotte Flair are the only matches officially announced for this show.

TJP was a guest on the Wrassle Rap podcast where he spoke about a wide range of topics including an interesting take on WrestleMania and its main event. In the mind of TJP, he thinks Lesnar vs. Rollins should headline this show. This came up when he mentioned that fans always ask him which match he thinks should serve as the headliner.

“Personally, I want to see Brock and Seth and it’s nothing against Becky andRonda, TJP stated. “I think they’re gonna have an amazing match. I actually know Becky and Ronda way better than I know Brock and Seth. I know Seth a little but, but I don’t know Brock at all. I said that I would want that because I really like every match that Brock is having, everything.”

TJP would then talked about match ratings and when it comes to Lesnar, he doesn’t think that it matters.

“I don’t think about rating a Brock match. You think about Brock and it’s like, ‘How many people want Brock to lose?’ There’s an irrational hatred for it or love for it. There’s no in between and that passion is so strong, you don’t even apply a narrative to it … it’s emotional to people.”

WrestleMania 35 is scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 7, 2019 in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium. This event airs on pay-per-view (PPV) and WWE Network.
